Members of the Hamden SWAT Team were at CFC today making final preparations for the CT SWAT Challenge next week in West Hartford. After a Tabata Warm Up of Mountain Climbers, Push Ups, Jumping Lunges and Flutter Kicks, followed by Rope Climbs, they tackled a Team WOD of Partner MB Throws, Steel Log Carry, Tire Flips and Prowler Push / Sled Pulls.
After a recovery period, they undertook a version of FGB (Fight Gone Bad): one minute rounds of Box Jumps, Push Press, Lateral Burpees, Zercher Sandbag Squats, and Wall Ball.
Great effort from the team, and lots of positive feedback on the program, which is always nice. Best of luck at the Challenge; I’ll be there rooting for you!
