June 26th, 2010: Chaos Classes

Double Chaos! The 9am class saw Pete, Cathy, Billy, Delaney, Dave S, Kathy, Amy, and Steve’s wife Melanie (who joined finally!); the 10am group saw Cathy and Pete back for more, plus Dave G brought his buddy Jim (visiting from KY), along with Tim and Jen R. Another beautiful summer day spent with enthusiastic, motivated people who are getting fitter and healthier every week!

June 19th, 2010: Chaos Classes

Another beautiful Saturday to be outside getting fitter, stronger, and faster! Double Chaos, as we made the 9am class AND the 10am class Chaos. The 9am class had a lot of barbell work in it (Bear complex, Snatch Grip Deadlifts, Push Press), while the 10am class had a mix of resistance bands, body weight exercises, and a run. The first group was Pete (who stayed for the 10am class too!), Cathy, Jen T, Frank, Julia and Joe, and the 10am class was Kate M (trying out the class), Rebecca, Kyle & Jeff, Andrea K, Jen L, Ashley, and Mike.

June 11th, 2010: Cindy WOD

CINDY was on tap for Friday’s WOD: a 20 mim AMRAP of 5 Pull ups, 10 Push Ups, and 15 Air Squats. Nice turnout of members, with Steve R, Ryan D, Rob J, Scott L, Dave G, Nick M, Steve P, Dave S, Kevin Z, Claudine Z, Sonia B, Frank B, Delaney S, Cathy B, Jen L, and Matt G all getting it done.

June 5th, 2010: Chaos Class

And Chaos it was! Banded “Monster” Walks, Tire Step Ups, Sprints, Push Ups, Walking Lunges, and of course the Concept II Rower. “Enjoying” the class, camradrie, and weather was Jeff P and Kyle P with their friend Kim A, Jen L, Pete H, both Sue Ps, Frank B, Julia N, and Jen T. Great turnout!

June 2nd, 2010: Outdoor WOD

The morning and lunch time classes gave it a good run today: 400m Run, 30 Box Jumps, 30 sec rest, 400m Run, 25 KB Swings, 30 sec rest, 400m Run, 20 Push Ups, 30 sec rest, 400m Run, and finish with 15 KB Sumo Dead Lift High Pulls. May 14th, 2010: Noon WOD

The Noon Crew was ready for “Fight Gone Nasty” today: Claudine Z, Frank B, Delaney S, Nick M, Jen T, and Ryan D brought their “A” game for 3 rounds of KB Swings, Dumbbell Squats, Decline Push Ups, MB Slams, and Jump Rope. Go Nooners!

May 12th, 2010: Morning WOD

The 6pm class took it to the streets: Jen L, Frank B, Tim D, Claudine Z and Joe G started with a 400m Run, 30 Box Jumps, 30 sec rest, 400m Run, 25 KB Swings, 30 sec rest, 400m Run, 20 Push Ups, 30 sec rest, 400m Run, and 15 KB Sumo Deadlift High Pulls to finish. Coach Marianne ran the clock and took the pics. We are lucky to have such dedicated CrossFitters at CFC.

May 10th, 2010: WOD

Monday was off to a brisk start, with Coach Marc leading the charge! After coaching the 5:30 am class, he jumped in with the 6:30 am crew and knocked off a 20 min AMRAP of 5 Pullups, 5 Cleans at 95#, 5 Knees to Elbows, and 5 Push Jerks at 95#. Also in the class were Dave G, Luis B, Kurt M, and Ryan D. The 12:30 class saw Frank B, Jen T, Matt G, and Jen L getting busy.

May 3rd, 2010: WOD

The week started off fast and hard, with a 2 part WOD: 5 rounds of 5 Front Squats and 10 Ring Push Ups for time, then a 10 minute rest, followed by 5 one minute rounds for distance of Rowing with a one minute rest in between. Some of those caught up in the action were: Nick M, Jen T, Dean C, Tim D, Mike D (with “the Bucket” nearby just in case), Cathy B, Sonia B, Joe G, Frank B, and Delaney S. Great start to the week!
